Intermountain Materials Testing has been operating continuously out of a single office in the Tri Cities since 1997. The firm was founded by Marianne and Michael Boring and operated out of offices in Richland for nearly six years.

During that time, the Borings and their staff developed the client relationships that remain an important part of the foundation for IMT's ongoing business success today.

Following an ownership transition in 2003, we moved to our current office and laboratory in Pasco. The move to a larger, more modern space was necessary to provide an expanded scope of service with a larger staff more efficiently. Fortunately, due to the efforts of our dedicated staff and the continuing loyalty of our clients, we have continued to grow in excess of our expectations.

We plan on marking IMT's continued success with another move to a larger, new facility. We are currently investigating possibilities for potential locations and discussing building plans. We'll let everyone know what to look for when plans are finalized.
