IMT provides services on more than five hundred projects throughout Eastern Washington, Northern Oregon, and Northern Idaho each year. Projects include roadway, airfield pavement, utility, bridge, remediation, landfill and public works construction as well as medical, educational, commercial, industrial and government building construction. Construction Materials Testing & Inspection
Terminal Expansion & Modernization
Tri Cities Airport, Pasco, Washington
IMT is currently providing special inspection and construction materials testing of soils, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, spray applied fireproofing, structural steel, high strength bolting and field/shop welding during construction of improvements and additions to the existing terminal building.
Olympia Street Reconstruction
IMT provided testing and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and hot mix asphalt according to WSDOT specifications during reconstruction of Olympia Street in 2014. The project included the complete reconstruction of the roadway and utilities from 27th Avenue to SR397 including traffic circles and canal bridges.
PCC Mix Design
Ice Harbor Dam, Washington
IMT participated in mix development for two designs to be used on the surface of spillway number two at Ice Harbor Dam. Services included aggregate qualification, mix design, trial batches, strength testing and field tests.
American Rock Products, Tri Cities, Washington
IMT conducted qualification testing on concrete, surfacing and other aggregates including particle size analysis, specific gravity, organic impurities, lightweight pieces, sodium sulfate soundness and LA abrasion tests to verify compliance with specifications.
Southridge Blvd Middle, Clodfelter Road Middle and Sagecrest Elementary Schools
Kennewick School District, Washington
IMT conducted site investigation and exploration, geotechnical engineering and produced soils reports to assist in earthwork, foundation, slab, pavement and storm water design for these projects.
